Saddle Brook, NJ – Ridgewood Closets has been selected to appear on the hit HGTV television series “Dear Genevieve”. The episode is schedule to air in this Spring and will feature Paul Donohoe, Owner and Founder of Ridgewood Closets.
In this "Dear Genevieve" episode, a NJ family is struggling with the lack of organization among their two twenty-something daughters who share a bedroom, bathroom, and closet. Upon seeing the space, Genevieve and HGTV producers immediately contacted Ridgewood Closets for help with the design.
Before the project began, the closet shared by the sisters was small and disorganized, with inappropriately located and spaced wire shelving and racks. It was impossible to keep neat and looked awful. Plus, french doors that led through the closet to the bathroom were glazed (and often left open); therefore, the mess was obvious to all who entered. Once Ridgewood Closets stepped in, the space was organized and attractive, perfectly complementing Genevieve's design for the rest of the space.
“Dear Genevieve”, airing on Saturday nights at 7:30pm Eastern Time, offers down-to-earth advice to real people who have fallen out of love with their home. The series features designer Genevieve Gorder, whose unmistakable enthusiasm and intimate approach to design have made her one of America's favorite interior designers. Her work has been featured in major publications such as Metropolis, ID, Cosmopolitan, YM, Seventeen and Good Housekeeping, and she has appeared numerous times on Oprah, The View, Today and CNN. She also has been recognized for her design and television work, including accolades for her contributions on the Emmy-nominated series Trading Spaces.
